Summer music concerts at the Leelanau County Poor Farm Barn, in Myles Kimmerly Park, are July 15, July 29, and August 12 this year from 6 to 8 p.m. The fundraising concerts to support the Poor Farm Barn are hosted by the Leelanau County Historic Preservation Society with Row-by-Row and the Empire Area Community Center. Freewill admission and donations are accepted. Various music genres will be featured each Wednesday: Classic Rock and New Wave on July 15; Modern Folk and Indie Rock on July 29; and Rhythm and Blues, Funk, and Rock and Roll on August 12. The Cherry Republic and the Glen Arbor River Club are event sponsors.
