The Empire United Methodist Church sponsored a pancake breakfast on July 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. to benefit Empire area residents who lost their homes in a recent fire. The homes and possessions of Robb Semple, Mara Miller, and Jessica Moers and family were destroyed by fire in June. The Empire United Methodist Church helps collect freewill offerings for our neighbors, and 100% of the collected donations goes to benefit the families. Credit cards, debit cards, and checks made out to the church are accepted. Pancake breakfasts include pancakes (with gluten-free options), scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and juice.
